Everest Panorama Trek we will trek until Tengboche Monastery, the Monastery is the most important monastery for the Sherpas of the Khumbu region. It is tradition that every expedition to Mt. Everest be blessed by the head Lama of this monastery. The monastery is also significant because a decree from the Lama prohibits killing within the premises which is largely the reason why the Sagarmatha National Park is a refuge for a variety of endangered fauna.
Everest Panorama Trek begins at Lukla. Trek through Namche Bazaar, the largest village in the Khumbu, and other quaint Sherpa villages. On the hike between Namche and Tengboche, you are constantly rewarded with views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Everest and other awe-inspiring peaks. Return via Khumjung, home of the highest bakery in the world.
This trek is perfect for those with limited time but wish to experience magnificent views of the highest mountains in the Himalaya without hiking to extreme altitudes. The trip begins and concludes with a full day self visit sightseeing in Kathmandu.
