Ram Kumar Rai

Ram Kumar has been guiding with Trekking Team for over 25 years, with more than 30 years in the mountains overall. He was born in a rural village in Okhaldhunga, in the hills below Khiji Tholedemba (3,440 m) and Pikey Peak (4,068 m), the viewpoint Sir Edmund Hillary called his favourite in all of Nepal. From Pikey's summit you can see Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga in a single sweep, and that was Ram Kumar's backyard. He is an expert trekking and camping guide and a genuinely good camp cook, something his groups tend to mention in their TripAdvisor reviews.
