Day 1
Arrival and Sightseeing in Paro
Arrive in Paro, Bhutan’s scenic valley town, and begin your journey with sightseeing. Visit Paro Dzong and the National Museum, with its rich collection of Bhutanese artifacts. Overnight in Paro.

Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, return to Paro
Enjoy a half-day trek to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), perched dramatically on a cliffside. The hike offers panoramic views and insights into Bhutan's rich spiritual culture. Return to Paro for the evening.

Trek Starts: Paro to Shana
The trek begins from Drukgyel Dzong in Paro, passing through picturesque villages, farmland, and pine forests. After crossing several bridges over the Paro River, you reach Shana for your first camp.

Shana to Sio Thangthangkha
Trek alongside the Paro River through thick forests of oak, pine, and rhododendron. Gradual uphill climbs lead to your campsite at Sio Thangthangkha, with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.

Sio Thangthangkha to Jangothang
Climbing higher, the trail leads through open valleys with stunning views of Mount Chomolhari. Reach Jangothang Base Camp, located under the towering Mount Chomolhari and Jichu Drake.

Rest Day at Jangothang Base Camp

Jangothang to Lingshi
